Chocolate Fantasy Land

Year 3 recreated their own "Chocolate Fantasy Land" as they celebrated their IPC Exit Point for their "Chocolate" unit.

The Exit Point was extraordinary because the unit linked to their English lessons about fiction. The children turned the classroom into an "Inventing Room" based on Roald Dahl's book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They showcased their art work about their own interpretation of the "Chocolate Room" and explained their own ideas about why chocolates are wrapped in a special type of material. They even created their own chocolate wrappers! The children and the parents had a blast as they relived the wonderful experience of discovering and learning about the world of Chocolate.
