Y12 & Y13 FOMU

As part of their CAS course, the Year 12 & 13 IB students visited the ‘Masculinities: Liberation through Photography’ exhibition at the Photo Museum of Antwerp (FOMU).

This was an ambitious group exhibition on the subject of masculinity exploring the myriad ways that masculinity is experienced, performed and constructed through film and photography from the 1960s to the present day. The students were able to make many links to CAS including self-awareness, physical and mental health, social and relational competencies, citizenship, cultural consciousness, historical consciousness and digital competencies.
