Trip Urania Y1

On Thursday 15th December, our Y1 stars went to the Urania observatory in Hove to learn more about the stars and other interesting objects in our solar system. We discovered that the sun does not go to sleep in the water at night and that it is vital for all life on our planet.

Thank you, Mathias, for your age-appropriate and entertaining explanation! For those of you who are interested in the topic and who would love to enjoy a similar experience, follow this link: http://www.urania.be/…/kijkavond-op-29-december-op-het-dakt… On Thursday 29th December there will be a ‘watching-the-stars’ event on the rooftop of the MAS. Check the Urania website on Thursday to see whether or not weather conditions will be favourable or not for the event to take place!
