When the air is filled with the sweet scent of speculaas and tangerines, you know it is that time of year again: Sinterklaas time!

And since all our children have been good this year, it comes as no surprise that the Holy Man himself came to visit Da Vinci. We went well out of our way to make sure he would feel thoroughly welcome. Traditional Sinterklaas songs were rehearsed and a beautiful throne was installed. Sinterklaas, who arrived with two of his Zwarte Pieten, brought his big book to see who has been naughty or nice. But as we all know, there are only well-behaved children at Da Vinci! After that being said, there was time to sing and dance and munch on the biscuits and sweets that Sinterklaas and his Zwarte Pieten had left behind. See you next year!
