REACH 2016!

What in the world is REACH Week all about? REACH Week is our annual project, which is always overseen by our Grade 7 students, but which ultimately involves the whole school community. The name encapsulates the effort, involvement, compassion, networking and values inherent in activities designed to raise awareness of those in need.

Carnival 2016!

The Da Vinci hallways and classrooms were heaving with fairies, dragons, princesses, pirates, assorted animals, cowboys and even aliens on this incredibly exciting day of the school year.

KG3 Sleep over!

The Exit Point of a unit is usually a celebration of what the students have learned over the duration of the project. For their unit of 'Seeing The Light', the KG3 students suggested a sleepover themselves. They had learned about the importance of light to all living things, but had also discussed the importance of resting to have energy for the following day.

On a frosty morning Grade 1 took the train to the toy museum where they had a blast discovering old and new toys. Dolls and Teddy bears, train sets and construction toys, puzzles and foreign toys.
