KG3 Sleep over!

The Exit Point of a unit is usually a celebration of what the students have learned over the duration of the project. For their unit of 'Seeing The Light', the KG3 students suggested a sleepover themselves. They had learned about the importance of light to all living things, but had also discussed the importance of resting to have energy for the following day.

Leading up to the event, they created some beautiful stained glass sculptures and candle holders, which were used to add a touch of magical atmosphere on the night of the sleepover. It was a perfect match of learning and fun. They watched an old shadow puppet animation movie, which inspired them to improve their own performances later on.

In the morning, they enjoyed a spectacular breakfast along with everyone's parents. All the children went home with bright smiles on their faces and the teachers went to have a long morning nap!
