Exam Success!

Congratulations to all our A-level students on the publication of this year’s A-level results. With an overall pass rate of 97.3%, our leavers are heading off to start university courses in Israel, The Netherlands, Belgium, UK and Germany.

A special mention must go to Louis Frommweiler who has been awarded 5 A-levels at the age of 16 and will be going on to study aerospace engineering in the UK. Kacper Nowak also deserves congratulations for achieving two A grades (Business and Dutch) and two Bs (English Language and Media Studies). Overall, the A-level pass rate increased for the third successive year with particularly strong results in the Sciences, Mathematics and Languages. We wish all our leavers the best of luck as they pursue their further studies and look forward to hearing of their continued success!

Also, many congratulations to all our students who sat their GCSE exams. With a 100% pass rate, everyone had something to celebrate! Results were particularly strong in Maths, despite the new more rigorous reformed GCSE with 78% students achieving grade 5 or above (2017 UK average: 49.7%). Overall, 73% of all grades fell within the range A* to C (2017 UK GCSE average: 64.8%) and the proportion of A* and A grades accounted for 27% (2017 UK GCSE average: 21%). Great job!
