Da Vinci International School has the following vacancies:

Early Years Teacher: to start on the 25th August 2020

Teacher of Dutch: to start on the 25th August 2020

Teacher of French: to start on the 25th August 2020

Early Years Teacher: to start on the 25th August 2020

We are looking for a fully qualified Early Years Teacher for a small group of children aged 2½ to 5 years old to join our school from the 25th August 2020. The successful candidate will have experience of working with a ‘learning through play’ based curriculum.

Candidates should have the following qualities:

  • good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • flexible team player
  • sense of humour
  • up-to-date ICT skills
  • ability to work independently

All candidates should:

  • have Qualified Teacher Status (B.Ed. or PGCE or equivalent for EY education)
  • be fluent in English
  • be able to teach in the EY age range
  • have an understanding of the needs of EAL students
  • have at least 2 years continual experience of teaching an EY curriculum to whole classes of children
  • be eligible to live and work in the EU

 Teacher of Dutch: to start on the 25th August 2020

We are currently looking for a part-time, enthusiastic teacher of Dutch to join our dedicated and committed teaching faculty from 25th August 2020.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an outstanding teaching ability and be experienced and prepared to teach Dutch from Y5 to IB level. A willingness to work collaboratively and plan across the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners is essential as is the desire to work closely with parents and to support school events.

Da Vinci International School is a non-selective school with an inclusive admissions policy. Children of all academic abilities are stretched, challenged and supported throughout all sections of the school. Pastoral care is also an important part of school life and all staff are expected to support, advise and guide children in their roles as class teacher or form tutor.

Our school enjoys modern well-resourced classrooms, small class sizes, outstanding academic results and excellent facilities. The international dimension of our school provides a very stimulating, vibrant and warm atmosphere in which to work. Situated within the city of Antwerp, the school is easy to reach by both public transport and car.

  • be able to teach Dutch up to IB Diploma Programme level
  • have excellent written and spoken Dutch skills
  • be fluent in English
